Frans Beerling 


Frans started his career in the Caribbean. Upon his return to Europe he worked in the financial sector, in commercial projects. Over the years he became involved as a professional within HR and became HR managing director in a major financial institution before working as a statutory director with a P&L accountability for two business units with that same company.

Frans acquired experience in line management, directing the HR activities of different organizations, including restructuring, M&A, negotiations with labour unions and working councils, compensation and benefits policies as well as liquidation and outsourcing.

He is specialized in coaching and consulting on (family owned) businesses. It is his passion to develop and realize real changes in personal relationships and to work with executives on leadership development. He developed a strong psychological framework, combining his wide experience in senior management positions with his years as HR professional.

He has particular interest in (family) business and solving the complexities of the working relationships among executives. He is used to work with owners, CEOs, Directors and top level business men and women.

He joined the INSEAD program finance for executives as well as the CCC program on organisational psychology at INSEAD’s IGLC. In his work as consultant on organisational design and organisational development, Frans drawson his wide experience and theoretical background, applying the clinical approach and concepts from psychodynamic tradition, systems theory and requisite organisation.

Robert Teunissen


After his university graduations Robert embarked on a career in the water sector on projects in Europe, Middle East, Southern Africa and Central and Eastern Europe. Over the years he became particularly involved in organisational change and the development of skills of executives in acquired water companies.

Wide exposure to and understanding of the intricate playing field of senior management for implementing strategy, combined with over 25 years consulting experience in organisational assessment and transformation means that Robert brings broad and innovative perspectives to clients for aligning organisation and people behind strategy.

With his training in organizational psychology at INSEAD’s IGLC, in applying the clinical approach, he draws on concepts from psychodynamic tradition, systems theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other disciplines that are helpful in understanding how to make organisations a well-functioning and successful. He is particularly well versed in Elliott Jaques’ stratified systems theory (requisite organisation).

He worked with Senior Partners, CEOs, Directors and top level business men and women across all sectors. He has a keen interest in helping executives setting the basic conditions for their organisation to execute the strategy.

He is an Executive Associate of the Institute for Independent Business, an international business education, research and accreditation organization with over 4,500 Accredited Associates worldwide.
